Food & CultureMinority Cultures of Guizhou & Guangxi
Fifteen days through Miao and Dong villages, indigo workshops, wooden bridges and the rice terraces of Guangxi.

A mountainous province of Miao and Dong villages, indigo textiles, wooden bridges and China's largest waterfall.
Guizhou is one of China's poorest and most culturally rich provinces, and one of the least visited by international travellers. Miao and Dong villages cling to hillsides, women still dye cloth with indigo, and the sound of drums carries across the valleys.
We travel with local guides, stay in village guesthouses where appropriate, and time visits around markets and festivals rather than staged performances.
These are the experiences we build into most journeys here — but the best days are often the ones we leave open.
The signature experience — worth planning your route around.
Best with a specialist guide and time to slow down.
We weave this in where it fits your interests and the season.
