Efind Tours is a licensed travel agency based in Guilin, Guangxi, China. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. It applies to this website, enquiries, bookings and the services we provide during your journey.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, telephone number and country of residence.
- Passport nationality, and where required passport details for train tickets, hotels, permits and visa invitation letters.
- Trip information: travel dates, group composition, interests, budget range, dietary or accessibility needs and other notes you choose to share.
- Booking information: the journey requested, passenger details, room arrangements and correspondence with our team.
- Technical information: standard server logs and, where you choose a display currency, a preference stored in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, check entry requirements and prepare a journey proposal.
- To arrange and operate your journey, including bookings with hotels, transport providers, guides, permit authorities and other suppliers.
- To provide support before, during and after travel, and to handle any issue that arises.
- To meet legal, accounting, immigration and safety obligations.
- To send our seasonal newsletter, only where you have asked to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Legal basis
Where European or UK data protection law applies, we rely on your consent for enquiries and marketing, the performance of a contract for confirmed travel arrangements, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services. We may also process information to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share only the information needed to deliver your journey — for example with a hotel, airline, railway authority, permit office, insurer or local guide. We do not sell personal information. Our website and email are supported by service providers who process data on our instructions.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to three years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Booking and financial records are kept for as long as required by applicable law. Passport copies provided for permits or tickets are deleted after the arrangement is complete unless retention is legally required. Newsletter preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used or object to processing. Write to contact@efindtours.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
Access to enquiry and booking information is limited to team members who need it. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
