Yangtze River & Yellow Mountain
This journey follows the Yangtze through the Three Gorges, then climbs into the granite peaks of Huangshan. It is a route for travellers who want scale and silence after the cities.
The cruise is the leisurely middle chapter: balcony cabins, shore excursions and long stretches of river scenery. Huangshan adds a night on the mountain for sunrise above the cloud line.

Day 05Terracotta Army
Morning at the warriors, afternoon at the Shaanxi History Museum.
Day 06Fly to Chongqing
Flight to Chongqing, evening embarkation on the Yangtze cruise.
Day 07Three Gorges
Shore excursion and scenic cruising through the gorges.
Day 08Three Gorges Dam
Visit the dam project and continue downstream.
Day 09Disembark in Yichang
Transfer to the station for a high-speed train to Huangshan.
Day 10Huangshan
Cable car onto the mountain, afternoon walking the peaks.
Day 11Sunrise & Hongcun
Sunrise above the clouds, then descend to Hongcun village.
Day 12To Shanghai
High-speed train to Shanghai. Evening on the Bund.

Yu Garden, French Concession and a free afternoon.

Day trip to Suzhou's gardens and canals.
