NatureYunnan: Kunming, Dali, Lijiang & Shangri-La
Eight days from the Stone Forest to the Tibetan edge of Yunnan, through old towns, snow mountains and tea country.

China's most culturally diverse province: Naxi old towns, Bai villages, Tibetan monasteries and some of Asia's best hiking.
Yunnan sits where the Tibetan plateau falls towards Southeast Asia. The result is a province of snow peaks, subtropical valleys, tea forests and more than twenty-five recognized minority cultures.
The classic route runs from Kunming to Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La, but the best journeys add time in smaller places: a Bai village near Erhai Lake, a tea mountain, or a hike in Tiger Leaping Gorge. We use local guides from the communities we visit.
These are the experiences we build into most journeys here — but the best days are often the ones we leave open.
The signature experience — worth planning your route around.
Best with a specialist guide and time to slow down.
We weave this in where it fits your interests and the season.
