NatureGuilin & Yangshuo: Rivers and Rice Terraces
Five days of karst peaks, river boats, rice terraces and village cycling in China's most painted landscape.

Karst peaks, the Li River and rice terraces that climb into the clouds — the China of painters and poets.
Guilin's limestone peaks have appeared on Chinese scrolls, banknotes and postcards for centuries. The classic journey is a slow boat down the Li River to Yangshuo, but the region is best explored over several days: cycling between villages, climbing to a viewpoint above the Yulong River, and continuing north to the Longji rice terraces.
This is a gentle, visual corner of China, ideal for families, photographers and anyone who wants a break from cities.
These are the experiences we build into most journeys here — but the best days are often the ones we leave open.
The signature experience — worth planning your route around.
Best with a specialist guide and time to slow down.
We weave this in where it fits your interests and the season.
