Lhasa & Shigatse
A focused introduction to Tibet, designed around acclimatisation rather than rushing. Two gentle days in Lhasa, then the drive to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake and the Karo La glacier.
We handle the permit process and use experienced Tibetan guides. Oxygen and a portable monitor are carried on all drives.

Slow transfer and rest. No sightseeing today.
Day 02Lhasa
Jokhang Temple, Barkhor pilgrim circuit and a Tibetan lunch.
Day 03Potala & Sera
Morning at the Potala Palace, afternoon at Sera Monastery.
Day 04Lhasa to Shigatse
Drive via Yamdrok Lake and Karo La, visit Tashilhunpo.
Day 05Shigatse to Lhasa
Return along the river with village stops.
Day 06Departure
Transfer to Lhasa airport.
